The Welz House
The guesthouse has 20 single and double rooms, a conference room/lecture hall, a small library, a communal kitchen with lounge area and a utility room.
Each accommodation is equipped with a bed, a wardrobe, a work area, a kitchenette and a modern bathroom.
The stylish rooms of the Welz House are furnished with wooden furniture and decorated in warm colors. Guests are welcome to use the common rooms and the communal kitchen on the ground floor at any time. The utility room is also available, for example, for doing laundry.
About Us
Room rentals at the Welz House are managed by Universität Würzburg GmbH. We are a small, dedicated team that looks after the rooms and guests of the Welz House. It is especially important to us that our guests feel at home during their short- or long-term stay!

In addition to renting out our guest rooms, we also organize events.
The lecture hall of the Welz House hosts, among other things, seminars and lectures of the Siebold-Collegium Institute for Advanced Studies (SCIAS).

Fees for services outside of business hours
If the property management is contacted by phone outside of business hours because the key card was left in the room, a fee of €20 will be charged. If the property management needs to be contacted by guests outside of business hours and has to travel to the accommodation, a fee of €100 will be charged.
Water quality
The water quality in the Welz House is equivalent to drinking water quality.
Wäschewechsel
Bed linen and towels are changed regularly every 4–6 weeks. If the guest requests more frequent changes, a flat fee of €8 will be charged.
